Wanda "Louise" Garner, 71, of Sage, Ark., died Sept. 7, 2005, at Pioneer Nursing Home in Melbourne.
She was born Nov. 4, 1933, in Sage, Ark., the daughter of James Lois Wren and Velma Cooper Wren.
She was a retired certified nursing assistant and a member of Melbourne Church of Christ.
She was an avid bingo player and a horse show mom, and she never missed an opportunity to take her children and grandchildren; an avid Chicago Cubs and Washington Mariners baseball fan; and she took pride in her work as a CNA at the nursing home where she worked.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Garner and Phillip Garner, both of Sage; two daughters -- Michelle Grady of Sage and Lynn Fowler of Ash Flat; two brothers -- Max Wren, and Rex Wren both of Wenachee, Wash.; one sister, Mary Sims of Wenatchee; nine grandchildren -- Josh and Matt Garner, Jordan, Hanna and Hayden Grady Leslie Ross, Luke Haney, Joe Fowler and Kevin Fowler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers -- Pete and Jim Wren.
The funeral was held Sept. 11 at Roller-Crouch Chapel with Chuck Crow officiating. Burial followed in Caney Springs Cemetery in Sage with arrangements under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Josh Garner, Matt Garner, Jordan Grady, Hayden Grady, Luke Haney, Joe Fowler and Kevin Fowler.
