Walter H. Huth, 51, of Hardy died March 29, 2006, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born on May 14, 1954, in Bloomington, Ill., the son of Kenneth and Alma Fishel Huth.
He was united in marriage to Yvonne Cordial in 1986 in Cherokee Village.
He worked several years as the dairy and frozen foods manager at Price Chopper Foods in Hardy before retiring.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Huth of the home; one daughter, Ashley Huth; one son, Matthew Huth; two brothers, August Huth of Bloomington, Ill., and Kevin Huth of Cherokee Village; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Huth and Alma Ruth Huth Priest; and one brother, John Huth.
The funeral services were held April 1 at First Baptist Church in Cherokee Village with Dr. Larry White officiating. Burial followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Hardy.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to First Baptist Church to the Walter Huth Memorial Fund.
