Wanda Williams, 83, of Ash Flat, Ark., died Aug. 1, 2007, in Cave City, Ark. She was born July 4, 1924, at Lafe, Ark., the son of Jonathan Riley Mann and Sarah Either Mann.
She was employed at American Greeting Card Corporation and retired after 27 years of service. She was a charter member of Joiner Baptist Church; at the time of her death she was a member of First Baptist Church of Hardy.She is survived by: three sons, Thomas E. Williams of Cave City, Dickie Williams of Ashdown, Ark., and Ken "Cotton" Williams of Ash Flat; two daughters, Fran McAnally of West Memphis and Carolyn McFatridge of Cherokee Village; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by: her husband of 64 years, Thomas W. "Tooter" Williams; her parents; five brothers; one sister; two grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.Funeral services were held Aug. 4 at Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with John Griffin and Larry Strope officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery in Violet Hill.
