Robert Phillip Zimmerman II, 53, of Evening Shade died Nov. 28, 2001, at Baptist Health Memorial in North Little Rock.
Born Aug. 4, 1948, at Roundtop, N.Y., he was the son of Robert and Dorothy Warner Zimmerman. He was a general contractor, Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the National Rifle Association, a youth leader of the Boy Scouts of America and a member and second counselor of the Ash Flat branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Linda V. Hildenbrand Zim-merman; a son, Robert P. Zim-merman III of Evening Shade; three daughters -- Lindy Norris of Batesville, Tammy Glisson of Melbourne, and Dottie Zimmerman of Evening Shade; a sister, Lillina Zimmerman of Bayport, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant twin brother.
The funeral was Dec. 1 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Batesville with Chris Bowman officiating. Burial followed at Campground Cemetery northeast of Evening Shade.
Pallbearers were John Sutton, Jerry Buchanan, Bob Bassham, Jason Norris, Melvin Hawkins, Nathan Brown, Lee Buchanan and John Hildenbrand.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
