Zola McLeod, 93, of Cave City died Sept. 26, 2003, at the Cave City Nursing Home in Cave City. She was born May 10, 1910, at Cave City to Thomas Newton and Mintie Arrow Baxter Burge. She was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cave City.
Survivors include two daughters -- Carol Moore of Fayetteville, and Gloria McClain of Granbury, Texas; one sister, Georgia Mitchum of Batesville; four grandchildren -- Kelly Moore of Fayetteville, Vicki Baxter of Haughton, La., Kensee Flores and Kendall Flores, both of Dallas, Texas; two great-grandchildren -- Jacob Baxter and Samuel Baxter, both of Haughton, La.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gilbert McLeod; and three sisters -- Ruthel Whitlow, Thelma Johnson and Erma Tharp.
Graveside services were Sept. 27 at the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Honorary pallbearers were Allen Wilkerson and Bill Pinkston.
