Lois Margaret Britt, of Salem, daughter of the late Milton Emil Anderson and Alice Pearl Holling Anderson, was born Feb. 11, 1945, in Brainard, Minn. She died May 5, 2008, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Ark., at the age of 63.
She was united in marriage to Donald Lewis Britt Sr. on July 29, 1967.
She was employed by the Salem Public School System for many years, working in the High School Library and the office.
She also owned a wood crafting business, along with her husband, called Wood Blenders Inc.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include: her children Ervin Hardy of Minnesota; Brenda Harris of Rogers, Michael Hardy of Milacs Lake, Minn., Susan L. Britt White of Salem, Donald L. Britt Jr. of Salem, and Francine Hitzeman of Cuba, Mo.; her brothers, Barry Kohlman and Albert Anderson, both of Twin Cities, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; a brother, Wayne Anderson; a grandson, Guy Britt; and her father and mother.
Memorial services were held on May 17 at the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem.
The arrangements were made under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
