Wilma Delores Henley, daughter of the late Claude Bell and Ruby Heady Bell was born Aug. 11, 1922, in Chattanooga, Tenn., and died Dec. 19, 2003, in Batesville, Ark., at the age of 81.
She was married Jan. 20, 1940, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Joseph Henley. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Mammoth Spring. She was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by six children -- Larry Henley and wife, Mari, of Nashville, Mich., Dick Henley and wife, Shirley, of Mountain Home, Linda Sines of Oak Point, Texas, Sandy Lundy of Anniston, Ala., Don Henley and wife, Valerie, of Lafayette, Tenn., Teri Fulbright of Cave City, Ark.; two sisters -- Jean Smith of Greenville, S.C., and Jewel Finch of Knoxville, Tenn.; ten grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Kenneth Henley; two brothers -- Ray and Junior Bell; and a sister, Louise Hutson.
A graveside service was Dec. 22 at Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Ark., with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer, Mo.
Pallbearers were Rick Henley, Wayne Sines, Dusty Westmoreland, Larry Hawkins, Larry Bryant and Derek Presley.
