Teresa Mae "Terri" Ashcraft Helms, 39, of Cherokee Village, Ark., formerly of Wynne, Ark., died Jan. 14, 2004, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.
She was a graduate of Parkin High School and a member of Paragould Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing with her grandchild and collecting poems.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Helms of Cherokee Village, Ark.; one son, John Helms of Lake View, Ark.; six brothers -- Al Ashcraft of Wynne, Melvin Ashcraft of Moro, Louis "Red" Ashcraft, Jim Ashcraft of Judsonia, Ark., Bill Ashcraft of Colt, Ark., and Don Ashcraft of Hardy; two sisters -- Oney Haynes of Wynne and Diane Morrow of Paragould; and a grandchild, Makenzie Sisco of Cherokee Village.
She was preceded in death by her parents -- Mattie Lou Acuff-Ashcraft and Odie Sylvester Ashcraft, and one brother, Tom Ashcraft.
Graveside service and interment was Jan. 16 at the Harris Chapel Cemetery in Wynne with arrangements under the direction of Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne, Ark.
