Eliza Cara Ring, 98, of Salem, Ark., daughter of the late Alexander Bookout and Perley Gray Hartgraves Bookout, was born June 19, 1905, in Wiseman, Ark. She died March 14, 2004, at Fulton County Nursing Home in Salem.
She was united in marriage to Boss Reeves. To this union, a son was born. She later married Sterling Hartgraves who preceded her in death. In 1962, she married George Ring. She was employed by a laundry in Jonesboro for several years. She attended services at the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her son, Cleo Reeves of Overland Park, Kan.; her grandchildren, Frank Reeves and her wife, Sharon, of Overland Park, Kan., and Jan Johnson and her husband, Dan, of Nixa, Mo.; her great-grandchildren -- Brook West and husband, Mark, of Stafford, Mo., Mallory Ford and husband, Sharr, of Springfield, Mo., and Bryan Reeves and wife, Amanda, of Lees Summit, Mo.; and a sister, Effie Dunn of Westminister, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
The funeral was March 17 at Cox-Blevins Chapel. Burial was at Salem Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home.
