Egg hunt set at state capitol

Thursday, March 18, 2004

JEFFERSON CITY -- Gov. Bob Holden and first lady Lori Holden invite the children of mobilized and deployed service members to an Easter egg hunt at the governor's mansion in Jefferson City.

A news release from Jefferson City said the hunt is planned for April 3 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Families wishing to participate in the hunt should RSVP by March 27. They can send a fax to 573-751-4458 or an e-mail to beth.hofherr@mo.gov.

"Again this year, Lori and I would like to make this a special holiday and express our support and appreciation for the troops and their families," the governor said.

The governor's mansion is located at 100 Madison Street in Jefferson City.

Invited families are welcome to park on the street around the governor's mansion, in the parking garage adjacent to the mansion or at the State Capitol a block away from the mansion.
