Letitia Rhea Ducker Samson, 35, of Salem, Ark., daughter of Rhea Jeffery Ducker and the late Dr. David E. Ducker, was born Jan. 17, 1969, in Salem. She died Aug. 5, 2004, at Rogers, Ark.

She spent her working years as a mother and waitress, a member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and was a 1987 graduate of Salem High School.

Survivors include a son, David Anthony Samson of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Shanti Rhea Samson of Austin; her mother, Rhea Ducker of Salem; a brother, Herschel Ducker of Salem; a sister, Twylla Jackson of Little Rock; four aunts; an uncle; three nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Carolyn Anne Maguffee; and her grandparents.

The funeral was Aug. 9 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with the Rev. Bobby Coleman and the Rev. Garland Skidmore officiating. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery with arrangements by Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.

Pallbearers were Ruth Skrapates, Debi Sutherland, Susie James, Rhonda Robbins, Celeste Garza, Joetha Broyles, Shannon Young, Jo Ann Cunningham, Raylene Pleasant, and Heather Lomozoff.

Honorary pallbearers were Marx Price, Dr. Jim Bozeman, Rick Pitchford, Stanley York, Brian Martin, Junior Fortner and classmates of 1987.

Memorials preferred to the Salem Cemetery Association General Fund.
