Ora Iene Partee Russell, 88, of Calico Rock, Ark., daughter of the late Samuel John and Irene Wallace Partee, was born on July 2, 1916, in Livingston, Ark.

She died Aug. 1, 2004, in Calico Rock, Ark.

She married Darrell William Russell Nov. 4, 1939.

During her working years, she was employed by the Baxter Health Care facility in Mountain Home.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was an active member of Calico Rock Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law -- Gloria and Jim Lindsey, and Carolyn and Howard Jeffery, all of Calico Rock; a sister, Ruby Atlantic Estes of Calico Rock; a brother, Woodrow Wilson Partee of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren -- Marty Wilson, Becky Killian, Shonda Branscum, Melissa Allen, Russell Lindsey, Bobby Lindsey, Stacey Whiteaker, Lesley Sanders; 14 great-grandchildren -- Zane Goodson, Zack Killian, T.J. Sanchez, Ben Lidnsey, Dalton Branscum, Dillon Wilson, Will Allen, Cade Whiteaker, Connor Sanders, Stratton Sanders, Meredith Lindsey, Cassie Lindsey, Lindsey Grace Allen and Jude Lindsey; and a great-great-grandson, Byron Goodson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers -- Fred, Roy, Kenneth, Gordon and Glen Partee; two sisters -- Lillian Wayland and Myrtle Byers; and a son, Bobby Ray.

The funeral service was held Aug. 3 at Calico Rock United Methodist Church with Paul Seay and Wayne Wood officiating.

Burial followed at Pineville Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home of Calico Rock.
