Mary Helen Conyers, 88, died Nov. 18, 2003, at Green Acres Assisted Living in Rogers, Ark.
Born July 12, 1915, in Corinth, Miss., she was the daughter of Luther and Tommie Lee Burgess Harrison.
She lived most of her life in Arkansas, graduating from Bentonville High School and Hendrix College.
She was married to the Rev. David P. Conyers in 1945, and together they lived in several Arkansas towns where he pastored, before retiring from his last Methodist Church in Cherokee Village, where they continued to live for several years.
Survivors include a brother, Tommie Lee Harrison of Rogers, and a sister, Julia Cavness and her husband, Jack, of Bella Vista; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. David Conyers in 1997; three brothers -- Edward, William and Roy Harrison; and a sister, Dora Catherine Cookenboo.
A private graveside service will be held a later date at the Bentonville City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Bentonville.
