Ella Sumner Bunger Inselmann Dodson, 95, of Ash Flat died Oct. 22, 2004, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System in Cherokee Village.
She was born July 21, 1909, in Ash Grove Township in Franklin County, Neb. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and taught school in Bellevue, Neb. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Cherokee Village.
She is survived by five grandchildren -- Michael Foley of Haily, Idaho, Peter Foley of San Antonio, Texas, Nicholas Foley of Dallas, Texas, Mary Davis of St. Joseph, Mo., and Kathryn Wetherby of Evan, Colo.; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helena Garrelts of Kearney, Neb.; one son-in-law, William Foley of Cherokee Village; one sister-in-law, Gloria Bunger of Cliffwood, N.J.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Inselmann; one daughter, Ruth Foley; one son, Bobby Inselmann; one grandson, Richard Foley; her parents; three sisters -- Etta Scheidt, Hanna Bunger and Rose Jelden; three brothers -- Harm Bunger, Jurden Bunger and John Bunger.
Interment will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 9 at Memorial Cemetery in Freemont, Neb. Arrangements are by Heath Funeral Home Oak Hill Chapel in Highland.
Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church Preschool in Cherokee Village.
