The Ozark Mountain Sport Fishing Association has slated a two-day Buddy Bass Tournament for June 5 and 6 on Lake Norfork.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit a local day care center in Alton.
Entry fee is $125 per person, or $300 per boat.
First place is scheduled to pay 30 percent of total entry monies, while second place pays 10 percent and third five percent. Fourth place will pay $100 and fifth place will be various prizes and T-Shirts.
Launching is scheduled at 101 Boat Dock, with fishing time running from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration begins at 5 a.m.
Fish allowed in the tourney are Largemouth and Smallmouth bass with a 15-inch length limit. A maximum of six fish per person will be allowed.
