Tuesday, December 23, 2003

COUCH -- Tom Bull, Couch High School principal, reported on the A+ program at the school during the school board meeting Dec. 9.

School board members were informed that the school is one year away from the Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP) and a time-line for MSIP activities was presented.

A senior trip, providing adequate funding is met, was approved to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The monthly attendance reports at the school and extra curricular activities at the school were discussed.

School board members voted to extend the contract of Mary Mayberry to Feb. 1, 2004, and to extend Carolyn Baker's employment through Jan. 1, 2004.

Couch school board members also voted to allow long-term leave to teacher Sharon Mathis.
