Murley Lee DeClue, of Watervliet, Mich., formerly of Salem, Ark., son of the late Charles l. and Delia Roland DeClue was born May 10. 1914, in Westpoint, Ark. He died Dec. 13 at Watervliet, Mich., at the age of 89 years.
He married Fay Albright Sept. 20, 1937 at Osceola, Ark., and to this union four daughters were born. He spent his working years as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and a farmer.
Survivors include three daughters -- Elaine Burbach and husband, Gerald, of Canton, Mich., Linda Krieger of St. Joseph, Mich.; and Arlene DeClue of Watervliet; three brothers -- C.L. DeClue of White Haven, Miss., Gerrell DeClue of Heber Springs, Ark., and Roy DeClue of Judsonia, Ark.; two sisters -- Marilyn Water of Bald Knob, Ark., and Betty Hogan of Millington, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; a daughter; Shirley Taylor; two sisters -- Mary Deuerling and Ollie Beaty; and a grandson, Darrell Taylor.
The funeral was Dec. 16 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Ark., with Warren Newman officiating. Interment was in Wiseman Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
