THAYER -- The Bobcat Booster Club will hold a benefit chili supper for Thayer High School student Brittany Allen.
The supper will be held Feb. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Thayer High School Cafeteria.
A full day to benefit Allen has been scheduled for Feb. 22 starting with peewee basketball games with Couch at 10 a.m. Admission to the games will be by donation. Entertainment between the games will include Gina's Gymnastics, the THS Jazz Band and more. That evening the Thayer High School coaches will play the K-Kountry 95 Jocs at 5:45 p.m. Several fund-raising activities have been planned for that evening including a 50/50 drawing and a raffle featuring an SMSU Lady Bears autographed basketball and an autographed Tennessee Volunteer helmet.
Allen, a freshman at Thayer High Schoo,l has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease and is undergoing treatment at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. She is the daughter of Joe and Kim Cox and David Allen.
