Sach Oliver of Salem, a junior agriculture business major, has been elected as the new president for the Student Government Association at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Oliver was elected to the position by the ASU student body and was sworn into office on April 3. The SGA is the representative student campus governing group for student issues and interests and Oliver has already begun taking on the many duties of the SGA president, including his promises to work to build spirit and traditions on the ASU campus and to provide stronger representation for students. Oliver said he would like to personally thank several Fulton County students who played significant roles in his campaign: Ashley and Amber Cochran, Lucinda Guffey, Josh Hamby, B.J.
