Bill Conner, 41, of Mountain Home died Jan. 16, 2005, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 10, 1963, in Colorado Springs, Colo., son of James Alvin and Dianne Mary Trudell Conner. He married Teresa Ann Langston on June 22, 2001, in Morriston, Ark.
Conner was a medical technologist who worked at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Mo., and formerly worked at Baxter County Medical Center. He moved to Mountain Home from Sullivan, Mo., in 1991.
Conner enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and, in his younger years, baseball. He was an exceptional gardener, but his children were his heart and soul.
He was a graduate of Alton, Mo., High School and also a graduate of Gradwohl School of Lab Technology.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Ann Conner; three children -- Shaun James Conner of Bourbon, Mo., Amy Marie Conner of Bourbon, Mo., and Tyler Everett Conner of Mountain Home; his mother, Dianne M. Young of Burkburnett, Texas; two brothers -- Merrelle Conner (Darlene) of Vilonia, Ark., and John P. Conner (Jackie) of Mountain Home; two sisters -- Kelli Kocik of Houston, Texas, and Amanda Rhinehart of Burkburnett, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, James G. Conner; and his grandmother; Goldie Branum, who reared him.
The funeral was held Jan. 19 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Watson officiating. Burial followed in Morriston Cemetery in Fulton County with Scot Pentkowski, Nathan Smith, Ron Ice, Mike Ramos, Tom Hardin, Larry Whalen, Brandon Hodge, Clinton Ice and Nathan Highfield as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to North Central Arkansas Humane Society.
