Bobby Lee Carroll, 61, of Harrisonville, Mo., was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Viola, Ark., the son of Truman Thomas and Elsie Lee Woods Carroll. He died Jan. 2, 2005, at Cass Medical Center in Harrisonville.
He owned and operated Bob Carroll Excavating in Urich, Mo. until his retirement in 2001.
He was preceded in death by his father Truman Carroll.
He is survived by two sons - Bobby Lee Carroll, of Holden, Mo., and Truman T. Carroll, Urich, Mo.; two daughters - Helen J. Gilbert and Toni Lee Huff, both of Peculiar, Mo.; ten grandchildren; his mother, Elsie Lee Carroll, of Scanton, Kan.; two brothers - James Carroll, of Viola, Gary Carroll, of Burlingame, Kan.; a sister Betty Atchison, of Wakaruska, Kan.; and other relatives and many friends.
The memorial service was held Jan. 4 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, with Charles Sutton officiating.
A graveside service was also held on Jan. 15 at Viola Cemetery with Robert Lash officiating.
