Maggie Lee Blake Williamson, 98, was born the daughter of the late Louis Turner Blake and Helen Blake on Sept. 6, 1906 in West Pointe, Miss. She died Jan. 6, 2005 in Thayer, Mo.
She was married Nov. 1, 1931 in Jackson, Miss., to James B. Williamson who preceded her in death Sept. 12, 2002.
She was a charter member of Crigler Missionary Baptist Church in Crigler, Ark., a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and loved and respected in her community.
Survivors include three children -- James Blake Williamson of Clearwater, Fla., Emma Louise Lack and husband, Dr. Gary Lack of Thayer, and Louis Allen Williamson and wife, Linda of Memphis, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Tommy Edwards and Sidney Marion Williamson, and several siblings.
Graveside services were Jan. 9 at the Thayer Cemetery with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
