Ellen Mozell Bell, 80, of Hardy, Ark., died Jan. 4, 2005, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born Oct. 24, 1924,in Haynesville, La., she was the daughter of William Reed Parsons and Datha Henderson Parsons. She was co-owner with her husband, William R. Bell Sr., of the W.R. Bell Products in Camden, Ark. She was a member of the Flower Club, the Home Extension Club, and was active for many years with the 4-H Program in Camden. She was also a member of the First Methodist Church in Camden.
Survivors include two sons -- William R. Bell Jr. of Hardy, and Lewis F. Bell of Camden; a sister, Virgie Caston of Hope; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William R. Bell Sr.,; two brothers -- Denton and William Reed Parsons Jr.; three sisters -- Lavern Blount, Valree Bates, and Barbara D. Jones; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
The funeral was Jan. 8 at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden with burial in Mount Horeb Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland, Ark.
