Lillie Aline Manes Holloway, 87, of Camp, daughter of the late David Leo and Wretha Cook Manes, was born May 26, 1915, in Camp. She departed this life Jan. 14, 2003, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem. She was married to Andrew Jackson Holloway on Aug. 24, 1935, at Camp, to this union two children were born. During her working years she was employed by Fulton County Nursing Center as a cook. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Camp and attended services at Camp.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Connie Ray (C.R.) and Barbara Holloway of Camp; her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Jake Benton of Camp; one brother, David L. Manes and wife, Mary Lee, of Mammoth Spring; three grandchildren -- Steve Benton and wife, Vickie of Truman, Scott Holloway and wife, Tami of Horseshoe Bend, and Andy Holloway of Thayer, Mo.; seven great-grandchildren -- Steven Kyle Benton, Makenzi Elizabeth Benton, Holli Michelle Hollway, Chad Holloway, Kimberly Renee Holloway, Nicholas Randall Holloway and Katie Cisco Holloway.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 1983; her granddaughter, Kimberly Rene' Holloway; one brother, Frank Manes; one sister, Grace Holloway; and her father and mother.
Services were Jan. 18 at Cox-Blevins Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. with Eldon Coil and Eric Lewis officiating. Burial was in the Camp Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Camp Church of Christ or to Paragould Children's Home.
