New pastor called to Kosh church

KOSHKONONG -- The Koshkonong Assembly of God has a new pastor. Pastor Rick Krietemeyer and his wife, Connie, moved to Koshkonong from Moody, Texas.

Pastor Rick is from St. Louis and is a 1976 graduate of Viburnam High School at Viburnam, Mo. He also attended College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, Mo., and took courses from Global University in Springfield, Mo.

His wife, Connie, is from Fort Worth, Texas. Her work career began in 1973 with STL Electronics in Dallas. She left the workforce for a few years and later returned to work for Domino's Pizza and Cargill. She is presently employed at Motor Technologies and Domino's Pizza in West Plains.

The Krietemeyers are no strangers to the Ozarks. They came to serve the Alton Assembly of God in 1983. They have ministered in churches in Gainesville, Vandalia, Whitewater and Morehouse, Mo. After leaving Missouri in 1999, they ministered in central Texas at Marlin and Moody.

The couple have two children, Jason and Rebekah. Jason is a freshman at Southwest Assemblies of God University at Waxahachie, Texas. Rebekah is a sophomore at Koshkonong High School.

The Krietemeyers said they look forward to meeting the people of the area. They and the congregation of Koshkonong Assembly of God invite the public to worship with them. The church is located at 400 Bingham Street, two blocks off Highway 63. The service schedule is: Sunday school, 9:45 a.m.; worship, 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, 7 p.m. For prayer or for more information about the church please phone, 867-5637.
