Rosemary Rogers, 80, daughter of the late William Earls and Ada Henry Earls was born Jan. 22, 1922, in Many Islands, Ark., and died Oct. 9, 2002, in West Plains, Mo. She was married June 30, 1942, in Hardy to Robert D. Rogers.
She was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother and was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors are her husband, Robert of the home near Mammoth Spring; four children, Betty Thompson and husband, Freddie of Mammoth Spring, Robert Glynn Rogers and wife, Janice of West Plains, Barbara Doute and husband, Pat of Mammoth Spring, and Kennith Rogers and wife, Diana of Joshua, Texas; two brothers, Coy Earls and wife, Beulah of Fairfield, Calif., and Norman Earls and wife, Anita of Mammoth Spring; one sister, Neta Schremmer and husband, Frank of Mammoth Spring; one sister-in-law, Maggie Earls of Mammoth Spring; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leo and Troy Earls; two infant brothers; three sisters, Esther Ivey, Earleen Forrest and Edith Rich; and one great-grandchild, C. J.
Services were Oct. 12 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Rev. Robert Brown officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Thayer with arrangements by Carter Funeral Home, Inc. of Thayer.
Pallbearers were Bradley Rogers, Michael Thompson, Marty Earls, Nathan Rogers, Jon Thompson, Marlon Earls, and Nick Earls.
Honorary pallbearers were Leroy Ivey and Davie Earls.
