Harold E. Hutchison, 76, of Evening Shade, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002 at his home. He was born Nov. 23, 1925 at Poughkeepsie to Jasper Lee and Junie (Hulett) Hutchison. He was retired from the National Weather Service, served on the Grange Calamine Water Association Board for several years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church at Evening Shade.Survivors include his wife, Fay (Stroud) Hutchison of the home; one daughter, Linda Ann Braatz of Appleton, Wis.; one brother, J. L. Hutchison of Cherokee Village; two granddaughters, Lynette Michaels of Menasha, Wis., and Lorie Downs of Oshkosh, Wis.; three great-grandchildren, Reming- ton Greely of Menasha, Wis., Bryce Downs and Tyler Downs both of Oshkosh, Wis.; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Mary Patricia Hutchison; two brothers, Hale Hutchison and Edward Hutchison; and two sisters, Mable Hutchison and Peggy Goodman.Services were Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church at Evening Shade with Bro. Robert Hutchison officiating. Burial was in the Evening Shade Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Pallbearers were Ed Farris, Tony Farris, Larry Snuffer, Frank Arnold, Ray Runsick, Paschal Spurlock and Paul Schmidtbauer.
