Burglary, theft charges filed at Alton

OREGON COUNTY -- An Alton teen-ager was

transported last week from Thayer city jail to Oregon

County jail at Alton.

Jacob Burmingham, 18, was transported on county

warrants for charges of burglary and theft.

According to a report from Oregon County Sheriff's

Office, on March 8 Burmingham entered Thayer

Freewill Baptist Church and took several items,

including two two-way radios and payroll checks of

nearly $700.

He is also charged with a parole violation and is jailed

without bond.

A Thayer man, Troy O'Banion, 30, was transported to

Oregon County jail Aug. 19 on an Oregon County

warrant for failure to appear on burglary and theft

charges and two felony Howell County warrants for

felony possession of a controlled substance and

burglary.

The Oregon County warrant charges that O'Banion

entered Dr. John Phillips Medical Clinic May 19 and

took 324 Allegra-D tablets and a bottle of nitrous oxide.

He is being held without bond.
