MAMMOTH SPRING -- The Mammoth Spring Chamber
of Commerce will celebrate the 2003 Solemn Old
Judge Day Aug. 30.
The chamber invites local farmers to join its downtown
farmers' market. There will also be craft, antique and
food booths. Anyone interested in setting up a booth
can call 625-3518.
The chamber and Riverbend Restaurant have
scheduled musical entertainment from 11 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. and from 1:30 to 3 p.m. These musical events will
be held at Riverbend Station and admission is free.
The Mammoth Spring/ Thayer Lions Club will hold its
20th annual Classic and Antique Car Show at
Mammoth Spring State Park. It will start at 9 a.m. with
judging at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free.
More musical entertainment is set for Riverbend Park
with a $6 admission fee being charged. Family
Tradition will perform at 6 p.m. and Steelhorse from 7 to
The Repertory Theater of the Ozarks will present
Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the
WhistleStop Theater at 8 p.m. Admission is $6 advance
and $8 at the door. Additional performances will be
held at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 and at 2 p.m. Sept. 1. Farmers
and vendors can register prior to Aug. 30 by calling
Mammoth Spring City Hall.
