Amanda Elizabeth Steelman and Taylor Charles Moore exchanged marriage vows July 26 at University Heights Baptist Church in Springfield, Mo. Dr. Michael K. Olmsted officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a seated dinner reception and dance at Highland Springs Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Metzger (Susan Senn) of Springfield, and Mr. and Mrs. David Steelman of Rolla. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Evert "Joe" Senn of Springfield, formerly of Thayer, Mo. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Moore of Monroe, La.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Kickapoo High School in Springfield. She is also a graduate of State University at Baton Rouge, La., where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi and received a bachelor's degree in mass communications. The groom is a graduate of Neville High School in Monroe, La. He is also a graduate of Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon and received a bachelor's degree in psychology.
The couple resides in Baton Rouge where both are attending law school at LSU.
