Imalene Thacker, 61, of Cave City died Dec. 26, 2003, at her home. She was born May 18, 1942, near Ben Gay, Ark., to Verner A. and Eulala Pinkston Cooper. She was a cook at the Cave City Nursing Home and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons -- Chuck Thacker and Junior Thacker, both of Cave City; two daughters -- Judy Webster of Cave City and Tina Belt of Cherokee Village; four brothers -- Clifton Cooper and Alton Cooper, both of Grange, Leland Cooper of Van Buren, and John Cooper of Batesville; four sisters -- Lorene Burge of Grange, Nina Jean Townsley and Bonnie Byrd, both of Cave City, and Betty James of Hardy; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Hazel Cooper; a brother, Authur Thomas Cooper; two sisters -- Allie Mae Cooper and Ruby Rychtarik; and a grandson, Kyle Belt.
The funeral was Dec. 29 at Corinth Baptist Church at Grange with Justin Burge and Kevin Cooper officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Michael Niswonger, Johnny Bagwell, Ted Bagwell, Don Mathias, Jeff Broyles and Doug Webb.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Belt and Jim Webster.
