Jewell Duane Fulbright, 84, of North Little Rock, Ark., died Dec. 27, 2003, at his home. He was born May 31, 1919, near Cave City to Elbert Edward and Ella Story Fulbright.
He worked 20 years in the aircraft industry in Wichita, Kan., and 20 years for Associated Management in Little Rock.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Helen J. Palmer Fulbright of the home; a daughter, Laurie Christene Fulbright of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Thomas Fulbright and (Marcey) of Chattanooga, Tenn.; three grandchildren -- Ramsay, Kate and Sam of Chattanooga, Tenn. Also he leaves two caring and devoted friends, Linda Roach and Michael Gianfrancesco.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service was Dec. 30 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Dennis Gray officiating. Burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery at Batesville with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Mike Nichols, Tom Fulbright, Sam Fulbright, Ramsay Fulbright, Jim Baxter and Zack Baxter.
