June Marvie Redburn, 70, of Alton, Mo., was born June 1, 1933, near Myrtle, and died Sept. 1, 2003, at her home.
Survivors are her husband, Herschel "Pete" Redburn of the home; two sons -- James Melton and wife, Deloris, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Winfred Melton and wife, Ann, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one brother, R.L. McGhee of Myrtle, Mo.; one sister, Augusta Mae Sikes of Leadwood, Mo.; three grandchildren -- Tracy, Andrea and Greg; and nine great-grandchildren -- Keegan, Lane, Baylee, Aaron, Tara, Brock, Josh, Bailey and Darby.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Waymon and Effie Rogers-McGhee; a daughter, Cathy Bettis; three brothers; and three sisters.
The funeral was Sept. 4, at 10 a.m. in Clary Chapel with John Lewis Casey officiating. Interment was in Hickory Grove Cemetery with arrangements by Clary Funeral Home of Alton. Mo.
