A 56-year-old Mountain Home man was arrested in Izard County Aug. 26 and charged with four counts of rape and four counts of incest.
Larry Eugene Barker, escorted by his attorney, John Crain of Mountain Home, surrendered to the Izard County Sheriff's Office.
Barker's arrest stemmed from allegations he engaged in sexual acts on two minors, said Sheriff Joe Martz said.
Becky Vacco of the Arkansas State Police spearheaded the investigation on the rape and incest charges.
As of press time Barker was being held at the jail on a $200,000 bond.
Nathaniel Speak, 19, of Calico Rock was arrested Aug. 23 in Melbourne.
Speak is charged with violation of probation on earlier charges of commercial burglary and theft of property. He is being held on a $5,000 bond at the jail and is scheduled to appear in circuit court Sept. 4.
Donald Todd, 21, of Franklin was arrested Aug. 22 by Deputy
Todd has been charged with one count of commercial burglary and one count of theft of property.
Martz said the charges stem from an incident in which Todd allegedly broke into the Violet Hill Store and stole cartons of cigarettes and smokeless tobacco.
Todd is being held on a $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 4.
