Union Planters Bank officials have announced the promotion of Joyce Ramsdell to branch manager, and Scott Edmondson to vice president of commercial lending for the Hardy and Cherokee Village branches.
Ramsdell, a Hardy native, has 13 years banking experience and will oversee the business development, operational activities and staff of the branches.
She said, "We've got a really good team working for us and we are excited to serve our customers."
A graduate of the American Institute of Banking, Ramsdell is involved in the MADD program for Sharp County.
She and her husband, Robin, are members of St. Michael's Catholic Church. They have three sons.
Edmondson, a Walnut Ridge native, has more than 16 years of experience in lending and banking.
A graduate of the University of Arkan-sas at Fayetteville with a degree in science in finance and real estate, he will be responsible for managing existing customer base and generating new customers in the Hardy and Cherokee Vil-lage areas.
Edmondson lives in Salem with his wife, Andrea, and their two children. They are members of Salem Methodist Church.
