Jim and Rosemary Rega spent June 5 with family in recognition of their golden wedding anniversary. The Regas enjoyed a brunch in their honor, held in a private dining room at the Holiday Inn of Jonesboro.
James M. Rega and Rosemary Ann Thier married June 4, 1955, at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Chicago, Ill. They relocated their family to Cherokee Village in 1968, then to Ash Flat in 1977. Jim is retired from the real estate firm that bears his name, and Rosemary is a homemaker and artist.
Six of the couple's seven children hosted the event. Attending were Glen and wife, Christine, of Conway and four of their children; Ken and his wife, Louise, of Agnos; Dan and Lisa of Cherokee Village along with their son, Brad; Linda of Memphis, Tenn.; and Brian and Dina, both of Jonesboro. Son, Larry, of Virginia Beach, Va., was unable to attend.
