Ivy Lee Albano, 76, of Cherokee Village, died Oct. 17, 2003, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Divernon, Ill., she lived much of her life in Chicago before moving to Cherokee Village 22 years ago. She was a homemaker, a member of the Cherokee Village Women's Golf Association and Monday Morning Women's Bowling League.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Albano of the home; four daughters -- Dr. Edythe Albano of Denver, Colo., Judie Albano of Tucson, Deborah Albano and Teresa Albano, both of Chicago; two brothers -- Don Seiders of Springfield, Ill., and Jim Seiders of Texas; a sister, Wanda Ketchum of Auburn, Ill.; and nine grandchildren -- John Tarr, Kaitlin Tarr, Natalie Leki, Jamal Leki, Eli Leki, Winona Bactell, Aidan Bachtell, Brendan Miller and Conor Miller.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Directions will be by Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
