Larkins accepts UCA scholarship

Aimee C. Larkins of Cherokee Village has accepted an academic scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas beginning in August with the 2004 fall term.

UCA awards academic scholarships, renewable for seven consecutive semesters, based on ACT scores, grade point average and class rank, as well as National Merit and National Achievement competition.

Larkins will receive a presidential scholarship to attend UCA.

She is the daughter of Barbara Larkins of Cherokee Village and William A. Benson of Bossier City, La.

The recipient will graduate from Highland High School where she is a member of BASIC, Beta Club, FBLA, FCCLA, 4-H, the Library Club, RAD, the Science Club, National Honor Society, National Honor Roll and Who's Who Among American High School Students.
