Buddie (Bud) Joe Glazier, 72, of Cherokee Village, Ark., died Aug. 3, 2005, at his home.

He was born in Bransville, Mo., the son of Vernie Glazier and Mildred (Beu) Glazier.

He was employed in the education field and was a retired school administrator.

He was a member of the Hardy Methodist Church, served in the Marine Corp., and was an avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley (Richardson) Glazier of Cherokee Village; two sons -- Scott Glazier of San Diego, Calif., and Gary Glazier of Tishomingo, Miss.; three daughters -- Martha Jo Hamilton of Buffalo, Mo., Karen L. Pogue of Salem, Mo., and Gail A. Behrle of Buffalo, Mo.; two brothers -- Robert Glazier of Springfield, Mo., and Bill Glazier of Syracuse, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service was held on Aug. 6 at the Heath Oak Hill Chapel in Hardy, with Rev. Tom Rhoades and Rev. Nancy Cameron officiating.

Burial was private.

Arrangements were under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Hardy.
