Eugene Samuel Hill, 92, of Cave City, Ark., died May 14, 2004, at Cave City Nursing Home in Cave City.
Born Feb. 28, 1912, at Bennett, Neb., he was the son of James Samuel and Mary Edith Gochnaur Hall.
He was a retired truck driver, farmer, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Memphis, Tenn., the Shriners, Scottish Rite, the American Legion and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters -- Marjorie Greenlee, Hazel Ernest and Charlotte Callan; and five brothers -- Elton Hall, Frank Hall, Floyd Hall, Lloyd Hall and Clarence Hall.
A graveside service was May 18 at Fairview Cemetery east of Cave City with L.J. Gay officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
