Juacellia Kakouris, 71, of Jonesboro, formerly of S. Louis, Mo., died Feb. 25, 2005, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born June 11, 1933, at Evening Shade, Ark., she was the daughter of Bill and June Graddy Thomas.
She was a banquet waitress for Clayton Inn of Clayton, Mo. for many years.
She was a member of the Affton Church of Christ of Affton, Mo.
Survivors include three sons -- Gregg Ratliff of Imperial, Mo., Nick Kakouris and Tim Kakouris, both of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Tammy Cox of Batesville; a brother, Jim Thomas of Batesville; two sisters -- Billie Johnson of Jonesboro and Patsy Wann of Midwest City, Okla.; seven grandchildren -- Jason Ratliff of Brookland, N.Y., Heather Ratliff of Cleveland, Tenn., Danna Cox of Magness, Kevin Cox and Josh Cox both of Batesville, Brett Ratliff of Imperial, Mo., and Hanna Kakouris of St. Louis, Mo.; a great-grandson, Zach Turner of Cleveland, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two husbands -- William "Shorty" Ratliff and George Nick Kakouris.
The funeral was Feb. 28 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bill Wallace and Gregg Ratliff officiating.
Burial followed in Sharp Cemetery at Evening Shade, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Ark.
Pallbearers were Josh Cox, Kevin Cox, Jason Ratliff, Dillard Ratliff, Brett Ratliff and Rick Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Van Love, Ronnie Qualls and M.A. Graddy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Sharp Cemetery at Evening Shade, Ark.
