David Lee Cochran, 72, of Hardy, Ark., died Feb. 26, 2005, at his residence.
Born May 1, 1932, in Sharp County, Ark., he was the son of Dale and Ora B. Armstrong Cochran.
He married Mary Lou Jones Feb. 4, 1966, in Williford.
He worked many years in the construction business.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou of the home; two sons -- David Glynn Cochran of Hot Springs, and Billy Joe Cochran Ward of Yellville; three daughters -- Carol Lynn Thomason of Magnet Cove, Brenda Lee Cochran of Hardy, and Susan Kay Cochran of Hardy; two brothers -- Kenneth Cochran of Hardy, and Bill Cochran of Hot Springs; four sisters -- Sarah Jane Horton of Hardy, Pauline Stroud of Hart, Margie Jones of Brooklyn and Fran Cramer of Rogers; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents -- Buck and Ellen Armstrong and Robert and Joanna Cochran; a daughter, Pamela Jean Cochran; a sister, Dorothy Ann Cochran; and three brothers -- James Clifford Cochran, John Franklin Cochran and W.R. Cochran.
The funeral service was March 1 at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel with burial in Highland Cemetery. Arrange-ments were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Hardy.
Pallbearers were James Cochran, Albert Williams, Jason Harris, Kevin Jones and Shawn Ward.
Honorary pallbearers were Phil Rolli, a very special friend; Leon Trivitt, Jimmy Johnson and Kenny Holt.
