Emma Ellen Kramer, 69, of Ozark Acres, Ark. passed away Aug. 30, 2002, at her home after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born in Tarma, Ky., daughter of Henry and Lucille (Daniels) Phelps. She married Martin Kramer on Memorial Day in 1952 in Oaklawn, Ill. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past Memorial Day. In part with being a full-time loving mother and wife, she found time to be the assistant to the building commissioner in Alsip, Ill. for over 14 years. She was of the Catholic faith.Survivors include her husband, Martin J. Kramer Sr. of Ozark Acres; two sons, Martin J. Kramer Jr. of Alsip, Ill., and Mike Kramer of Glesson, Wis.; two daughters, Donna and husband, James Nash of Merril, Wis., and Diane and husband, Vince Lucas of Posen, Ill; four sisters, Norma DaMato of Beverly Hills, Fla., Dorothey Burgmann of Chicago, Ill., Henreitta Fries of Fountainhill, Ariz., and Rose Specht of Glendale Heights, Ill.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.The body was cremated. No service was held. Arrangements were under the diection of the Heath Funeral Home, Oak Hill Chapel of Hardy.
