David Glenden Guiltner, 40, son of the late Elijah and Ethel Hamley Guiltner, was born on May 30, 1934, in LaCrosse, Ark. He died Sept. 17, 2004, in Calico Rock.
During his working years, he worked as a carpenter. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Melbourne Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law -- Dena and Leon Morehead of Calico Rock, and Debra and Marvin Hoskinds of Melbourne; five sisters -- Johnnie Ruth Stone of Ozark, Mo., Rachel Arthur of Murrieta, Calif., Lucille Deal of Battlefield, Mo., Lorene Jackson of Springfield and Nellie Wiles of Mammoth Spring; two brothers -- Frank Guiltner of Battlefield, and Joe Guiltner of Violet Hill, Ark.; four grandchildren -- Josh Morehead, Jason Hoskinds, Heather Coleman and Ethan Morehead; and two great-grandchildren -- Isaac Coleman and Cassidy Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parent and three brothers -- Bearon Guiltner, Leonard Guiltner and Hanley Guiltner.
The funeral was Sept. 20 at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Gale Wooten and Alfred Young officiating. Burial was at Violet Hill Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
Pallbearers were Josh Morehead, Ethan Morehead, Jason Hoskinds, Chris Coleman, Sam Guiltner and Tim Guiltner.
