Carroll Eugene Sullivan

Carroll Eugene Sullivan, 59, of Batesville, died June 5, 2004, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born Nov. 22, 1944, at Calico Rock, Ark., to Herbert and Ruth Street Sullivan.
He was a carpenter, electrician and plumber, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Batesville Lodge and member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Batesville.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Bushatz Sullivan of the home; two sons -- Jason Lee Sullivan of Cord and Jordan Wayne Sullivan of Jefferson, Ark.; two brothers -- Irvin "Bud" Sullivan of Tucson, Ariz., and Bill Sullivan of Lucedale, Miss.; and a sister, Loudean Jensen of Lepanto; three grandchildren -- Alissa Sullivan of Cord, Ark., Clay Sullivan of Cord, and Justin Sullivan of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers -- Hubert Sullivan, Darrell Sullivan, Lewis Sullivan and Ernest Sullivan; and a sister, Nina Faye Sullivan.
A graveside memorial service was held June 12 at the Alderbrook Cemetery at Desha with the Rev. Kay Owen officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville, Ark.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Asbury United Methodist Church, Independence County Humane Society or Ozland Horse Rescue of Cushman.
