Jason Wiles and Tracy Daige were married July 30, in Burlington, Vermont. The couple exchanged vows at the Echo Aquarium of the Leahy Center on the shore of Lake Champlain in Burlington where they met in 2005.
After the reception, the newlyweds embarked on a three week honeymoon trip that carried them from Nairobi, Kenya, to the Mahe Seychelles Islands, to Madagascar, then to Zanzibar, Tanzania.
After the wedding and honeymoon, the couple will reside in St. Albans, Vermont, where Tracy is a high school guidance counselor and Jason is concluding his PhD work in science education at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. In 2008 Jason and Tracy will be moving to Syracuse, NY where Jason will be on the faculty of Syracuse University teaching freshman biology.
Jason is the son of Dennis and Wanda Wiles of Horseshoe Bend and Tracy is the daughter of Steven and Patricia Daige of Wilmington, NC.
Accompanying the Wiles' to Burlington for the wedding was Jason's sister Jennifer and her husband Mike Mullen of Rogers, Ark.
