Benefit planned for Donna Ivey

A?raffle will be held for the Donna Ivey benefit Oct. 20. Donna Ivey is the daughter of Meda Conley and sister to Crissie Conley and Kathy Elliott. Donna, a survivor of breast cancer, had a cancerous brain tumor removed on Aug. 28 and has been diagnosed again with breast cancer. She is currently undergoing radiation therapy in Jonesboro five days a week.

A benefit pie auction and chilli supper will be held Oct. 20 at Cornerstone Worship Center to help with travel and medical expenses.

Quilts made by Donna and her mother Meda, will be raffled during the benefit. All proceeds will go towards helping Donna and are greatly appreciated.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
