Frances Roselle King, 61, daughter of the late John Henry Pool and Frances Roselle Dawson Pool, was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Waco, Texas, and died June 7, 2004, in Koshkonong.
She was married Feb. 26, 1962, to William King in Gosnell, Ark. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a seamstress for a factory in Steele, Mo., for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, William, of the family home in Koshkonong, Mo; five children -- Michael King and his wife, Angie of Ash Flat, Michele Kelly and husbnd, Tony, of Koshkonong, Marcelle Shepherd and husband, Steve of Belleville, Ill., Marlin King and wife, Mary of Koshkonong, and Mark King and wife, Renee of Koshkonong; 15 grandchildren; two brothers -- Billy Pool of Pointblank, Texas, and Johnny Pool of Austin, Texas; and one sister, Lucy Nichols of Livingston, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Sherry King Savia and husband, Kenny of Dayton, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Esther Pool, and a granddaugher, Sheri Denise King.
The funeral was June 10 with graveside services at Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, Mo., with the Rev. Ron Richardson officiating. Arrange- ments were under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer, Mo.
Pallbearers were William King, Marlin King, Tony Kelly, Kenny Savia, PFC Jimmy Wadkins, USMC, Michael King, Mark King, James Wadkins and Ray Kelley.
