He said all too often he sees the end result of a burglary -- upset and scared victims. In many cases the door locks are old or the door frame is weak. This makes an easy access for a criminal to break in.Part of his business is taking care of and responding to calls from clients who have locked keys in their vehicles. He has the tools and training to resolve problems without damaging the automobile.Krause demonstrated some of the security devices he offers, products and services to help secure homes and businesses.Chamber President Hans Oliver said that 80 percent of the time a thief will kick in a door. He explained how important it is to have deadbolts installed correctly and not to skimp on security. In other business Oliver said the chamber would discuss boosting attendance at the January meeting. He announced the December meeting was cancelled due to busy holiday schedules.
