THAYER -- Shady Oaks Healthcare Center in Thayer has announced the expansion of their rehabilitation services with the grand opening of Shady Oaks Outpatient Therapy Clinic July 26. According to rehab manager Shelly Hollis, the new clinic is located in the tan brick building adjacent to Shady Oaks at 707 Highway 19 in Thayer.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. and will be followed by an open house of both the new outpatient clinic and Shady Oaks Healthcare Center until 4 p.m.

"The newly renovated facility will afford us the additional space and equipment to continue to provide quality care to the residents of our community. With the expansion of space we are now able to offer private treatment facilities and new equipment such as the Shuttle Exercise System for lower extremity rehab," Hollis said.

She said comprehensive outpatient therapy services will be offered at the new facility including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language therapy.
